Knowledge is power! The City of Orlando and Valencia College has created a community workshop in order to educate and arm their citizens with KNOWLEDGE. This workshop is designed to encourage open dialogue between the residents of Orlando and its Police Department with goals of strengthening relationships and trust between the police and its citizens.

On January 6, 2017 Aramasi Ayala became the first black State Attorney in Florida’s history. Friends, family and supporters from across Central Florida came together to celebrate this special inauguration. After being sworn in just a few hours earlier, the newly elected State Attorney joined us at the Aloft Hotel for her reception.
Ayala is pushing for more transparency and fair prosecution of individuals who put our community’s safety at risk. She also promised to become a state attorney who will bridge gaps with communities, especially underprivileged areas who may feel that the justice system does not care about them.
Congratulations again to our new State Attorney and her entire team.
